Lemberger is an Austrian variety that is also known as Blaufrankisch. Lemberger is not widely planted and is not easily found. Small amounts are grown in the Yakima Valley in Washington, the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, and the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Wines made from Lemberger grapes tend to be very approachable with a jammy character.
