An American vine belonging to the species Vitis labrusca and named after the town of Concord, Massachusetts by Ephraim W. Bull. Concord grapes produce wines with what is known as a “foxy” flavor. Concord vines are very well adapted to the northeastern United States and southeastern Canada. A wide range of wines are produced with Concord grapes.
