FALL 2020 | LIMITED RELEASE OCTOBER – DECEMBER
Hearth reflects the warmth and connectedness felt at home as we enter a new, different sensation as the holidays approach. Hearth also creates the image of warmth after being outdoors, a place to cozy up and have a beer.
In this quarter’s Private Collection (appropriately titled Hearth) each strain delivers a sophisticated, nuanced idea of winter and holiday beers without the pumpkin spice. Comprised of dry, crisp, malty flavor profiles, with fruity undertones, this collection lends itself nicely to pale lagers and dark specialty Belgian ales—perfect for the transition from autumn to winter. With a wide range of temperature tolerance, different winter brewing styles, preferences, and brewer controls are accommodated.
The 2000-PC Budvar Lager has a nice malty nose with subtle fruit tones and a rich malt profile on the palate. It finishes malty but dry, well balanced, and crisp. Hop character comes through in the finish.
