Pinot Blanc

Pinot Blanc

Overall Impression:

Pinot Blanc is a white mutation of Pinot Gris. This mutation was discovered in Burgundy in the late 19th century.

Pinot Blanc tends to produce full-bodied, very aromatic, and often alcoholic wines. Pinot Blanc is often confused with Chardonnay both in appearance of the grape and in the wine that it produces. Pinot Blanc is widely planted, especially in eastern Europe.
